Originally, the rodeo was a celebration, marked by sporting games and reunions. We therefore came up with the idea of proposing a piece centered around urban cultures — sparkling, dynamic, and well-suited to introducing audiences of all generations to the most modern disciplines of hip-hop.
In RODÉO, dancers share different hip-hop techniques. By blending these styles, they create an “all-terrain” piece that throws them skyward and back to the ground, in a spirit of exchange and jubilation.
